Recovery Together
Every treatment center wants to see the people who enter their program come out the other side on their way to a happy, drug-free and sober life. We believe we have the facilities, the staff and the process to help make this happen for people who are ready to make a change.
But beyond the addict/alcoholic’s “change,” there needs to be a change in the way the family relates to each of its members. Many treatment programs offer a few family counseling sessions, as a way of addressing the hurts the family has felt all too often.
That’s not the way we do things at Family Recovery.
The pain, frustration, anger, fear and sadness that go hand in hand with a family member’s addiction can be just as deadly as drug or alcohol abuse. Those emotions deaden the spirit, and inhibit the flow of love, support and understanding within the family unit.
Here’s the way we do things at Family Recovery:
We believe that every family member who is touched by an alcoholic/addict needs to experience his or her own recovery. Hopes have been dashed, dreams deferred, so many once-in-a-lifetime moments have been ruined as a result of addiction’s effects on the family. Those hurts won’t heal in a few family therapy sessions.
There is a process of healing available to the clients of Family Recovery that is designed to help renew the spirits of the parents, spouses, children and siblings of those who suffer from addiction. We offer a specialized program that addresses those dashed hopes, deferred dreams and ruined moments—healing those deep hurts and helping to build a foundation for new hopes and dreams for each member of the family.
You and your family deserve to feel the freedom that comes with stepping out of the shadows of addiction. When you’re ready to take the first step, Family Recovery will be there for you. Call (800) 231-8021.
